We are currently seeking a Quality Officer to join our Quality team in Queanbeyan. If you are detail-oriented, process-driven, and passionate about delivering precision in high-stakes environments, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to mission-critical projects.Job DescriptionAbout the RoleAs a Quality Officer, you will be responsible for conducting receiving and first article inspections of mechanical and electronic parts. Working closely with our engineering and production teams, youll ensure all inspected parts meet the required specifications, supporting our quality assurance efforts across multiple sites.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections of electronic and mechanical parts in accordance with inspection test plans (ITPs) and technical drawings.Record inspection results and maintain accurate supplier documentation.Create and use process checklists to support inter-site quality inspections.Review and suggest improvements to manufacturing process instructions and testing documentation.Operate precision instruments (verniers, micrometres, microscopes) to verify conformity.Draft non-conformance reports and support corrective action reviews.Assist with defect management in line with company procedures.Provide general support to the Quality team as required.Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout YouYou are an organised, detail-focused professional with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to high standards.
