You will need to be eager to learn and motivated to succeed. In return you will get the opportunity to work alongside the best in the business. Your focus will be mainly on our website and mobile application with the opportunity to work on some of our API integration as well.Knowledge of cryptocurrency is a benefit but not a pre-requisite. You will be required to learn the business and how you can directly contribute to our systems performing at an optimal level of quality for our users.This role will be reporting to the Head of Quality Assurance and will be collaborating with a range of functions including Development, Marketing, Support and Operations teams.A broad role with plenty of scope for growth, no day is ever the same but some of the key activities will include:Creating and maintaining test cases, test data and test resultsParticipating in System, System Integration, Mobile Application, API and Regression TestingEngaging the development team and teams across the business to work through defect resolutionCreating test data files with valid and invalid scenarios to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flowConducting tests and analyze results to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and/or client requirementsDeveloping and maintaining strong working relationships with other IT Services functions and customers to expedite delivery of IT solutionsWorking closely with both onshore and offshore development team members to deliver projects on time, meeting cost and quality requirementsDocumenting test strategies and create test plans.Creating and maintain knowledge repository for system functionality and test documentationPerforming test closure activitiesFocusing on continuous process improvementBeing able to adapt to changes in industry and business requirements without sacrificing qualityDocumenting and analysis of requirements and specifications as neededAbout YouYou will need to:Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal to effectively communicate with other groups across the businessHave a keen eye for detail, an understanding of complex system integrations and the ability to identify potential points of failureHave exceptional organisational skills as this is required for the documentation of test cases, data and resultsBe able to identify testing pain points and assist with implementing improvements towards these areasBe involved in recommendations to the wider team with regard to process changes and assist with the drive of the implementation of theseProvide recommendations and analytical expertise on enhancement requests raised and challenge these requests if necessaryBe capable of managing small to midsize pieces of work with minimal supervision and escalate any issues that require attentionPossess the ability to prioritise personal workloads to best meet the objectives of the organisationBe able to work from the officeOther skills and experience which would be ideal:5 years of experience in TestingPreviously worked in Agile DeliveryDemonstrated understanding of Software Development LifecycleAbility to think more broadly than testing and understand the impact to changes across the businessWhat We OfferA competitive salaryFee-free tradingA challenging and rewarding role in the dynamic crypto industryA winning, fun, hard-working teamOngoing learning and supportGreat career development opportunities in a growing companyThis is an in-office role, so please do not apply if you are looking for a hybrid or remote opportunity.Seniority levelSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionJob functionOtherReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Independent Reserve by 2xSign in to set job alerts for Senior Test Analyst roles.Continue with Google Continue with GoogleContinue with Google Continue with GoogleSydney, New South Wales, Australia 2 days agoSenior or Junior Business Test Analyst -
