A technical specialist and escalation point for the SOC, the Principal Information Security Consultant mentors junior staff, sharing knowledge and experience.This role will focus on driving continuous improvement of threat hunting and SOC capabilities, with an emphasis on proactive defense and analytics. It involves staying ahead of emerging threats through ongoing skill development and advanced methodologies, leveraging digital forensics expertise to support incident response and investigations. The role also includes mentoring junior team members and leading initiatives to strengthen Westpacs overall security posture.What do I need?8+ years in a Cyber Security role. Leadership experience highly desirable but not necessary.In-depth experience in Threat Hunting, DFIR and EDR tools.Cyber Incident Management experience.
