With CCSM LOTE entering its testing phase, it is an exciting time to join the Program. We are looking for an Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V) Manager to lead the IV&V program, including the coordination of the different test stages, with activities taking place around the world. With a strong technical background, excellent communication and leadership skills, and coupled with extensive knowledge of naval programs, the IV&V Manager will work with the different Industry and Defence stakeholders on the completion of the delivery of the CCSM LOTE Program, from Factory Acceptance Testing to Sea Trials.The IV&V Manager is accountable to the Head of Whole of the Boat Performance & Integration for delivery of IV&V engineering services to ASC projects in accordance with ASC corporate and engineering processes.Responsibilities:Lead the delivery of IV&V scope to the CCSM LOTE Program.Provide leadership and coordination across teams and subcontractors during the LOTE testing phases and support the resolution of issues.Perform project planning and scheduling, resource, reporting and budget management for the allocated scope.Proactively identify, resolve and, where required, escalate technical and programmatic issues, opportunities and risks to ensure successful delivery of the allocated scope.Direct management of the ASC IV&V team, including supporting the growth of the team through recruiting, setting objectives, evaluating performance, developing growth plans, promoting, and managing staff performance.Business-wide CCSM IV&V governance support as a Subject Mater Expert.Support ASC in developing ASCs IV&V capability.Prepare and deliver briefings to internal and external stakeholders in design reviews, program reviews, and leadership forums.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the Submarine Enterprise.About You:Bachelor level qualifications in a relevant technical discipline.Demonstrated experience in System Engineering or Test & Evaluation (T&E) of a complex defence project in a senior engineering role.Desirable extensive submarine system, test development and execution experience.Demonstrated leadership experience through the participation of (or ideally the chair) of Test Readiness Review Boards.Experience in building and leading multi-discipline technical teams, including supporting the growth of technical team members.A good understanding of the product lifecycle, configuration management, product safety, seaworthiness and engineering governance and assurance.Outstanding internal and external stakeholder management.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated application of project management techniques on an engineering project in a project engineering role or similar.Eligible for relevant professional credentials such as Engineers Australia CPEng.Eligibility:This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to a NV1 level.
