You will be a highly motivated and capable person who will facilitate excellence in integrated, holistic health and social care, youth participation and family-centred practice, with the goal of improving outcome for young people, their families/carers/kin and the wider community. The successful candidate will work closely and collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to ensure all activities are in accordance with the headspace grant agreement and direction provided by Youturn Limited, headspace National, consortium partners and the Youth Reference Group.Essential Qualifications & LicensesDegree level qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, or other related health discipline.Successful applicants will also need to hold a C class Open driver licence, Blue Card issued by Queensland Government and hold, or be eligible to apply for, a Licensed Care Suitability Check issued by the Department of Child Safety, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs.Proven experience in leading complex planning and service development, managing day-to-day operations, and providing clinical leadership.Experience in managing and developing operational systems within a health or community services organization, ensuring efficient resource allocation to meet operational goals and funding requirements.Strong background in managing all aspects of staff and team performance, including recruitment, orientation, supervision, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and team development.Hands-on experience in providing youth-friendly, family-focused mental health services, including responding effectively to crises and high-risk situations.Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse groups, including professionals, stakeholders, and clients.In-depth understanding of the Australian healthcare system, including relevant legislation, policies, and the strategic focus on primary and mental health care.Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.Proficient in using electronic client management systems, Microsoft Office, and desktop computers.Hold registration with AHPRA or membership with AASW, or other relevant governing body.Mental Health endorsement with AHPRA or accredited Mental Health Social Worker status with the AASW.Post graduate qualifications in business or health services management.Experience in the not-for-profit/non-government sector.Experience in the Australian mental health sectorFor everyone who shares our passionYouturn encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, the LGBTIQA+ community, people with a disability, candidates from culturally diverse backgrounds, and those with lived experience.We are committed to ensuring a safe, inclusive and respectful recruitment process, and if we can support you with any adjustments to help you fully participate, please let us know in your application or contact us at: [emailprotected]Please advise if you have been referred to this position by a current employee of Youturn.Wed love to meet you!If you have the skills, experience and passion to fit our team, please take the next step and submit your resume and cover letter or simply contact our hiring manager Grace Thomson [emailprotected] for further details.Unlock job insightsSalary match Number of applicants Skills matchYour application will include the following questions:Do you have a current Australian driver''s licence?
