Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a Post Graduate Fellow to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.We are looking for a Post Graduate Fellow in Robotics Research (Urology). The primary purpose of the role is to develop subspecialty interests in Urological Robotics with a focus on Robotics Research, and to further develop core clinical and research skills in this area. This role will be based at the Institute of Academic Surgery on the RPAH campus, and will involve work across RPAH and CRGH.The Post Graduate Fellow in Robotics Research (Urology) will have completed advanced training to become a specialist medical practitioner in Urology. They will undertake advanced robotic surgery training (subject to outcomes of SLHD robotics procedures credentialing) and will act under supervision, with delegation appropriate to their professional development stage.The Fellow will provide high-quality clinical care and research activities, participate in teaching, research, quality improvement, and administrative activities within the Institute of Academic Surgery, RPA and CRGH Hospitals. They will maintain high standards of professional performance and contribute to an academic environment supporting education, research, and professional development.The successful applicant must be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and hold Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) with recognized qualifications in Urology and/or other equivalent recognition as per the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.
