You will represent the interests of Novo Nordisk and patients within Oceania, be responsible to meet and exceed the P&L by developing mid to long term strategic plans, evolve the organisational culture and develop people capabilities that are fit for future. You will be based in Sydney, Australia and be a member of the senior leadership team of Region Asia Pacific, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Region APAC.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Lead by example to inspire the organization towards customer centricity, digitalization, and sustainability, shaping and executing the organizational strategy in alignment with Novo Nordisks values.Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with external parties, including authorities, industry stakeholders, customers, and suppliers, to drive profitable and sustainable short- and long-term growth.Secure market share and operating profit through continued sales growth, ensuring market access for the product portfolio and successfully bringing new innovations to market.Represent Novo Nordisk to local authorities and key opinion leaders across therapeutic areas while building strong, trusting relationships with Medical, Payer, and Commissioning authorities.Foster a performance-driven culture by promoting ongoing performance dialogues, ensuring all activities comply with Novo Nordisk internal policies, local laws, and ethical standards, reinforcing the belief that there is No business without ethics.QualificationsRelevant graduate-level degree (e.g., Pharmacy, Science, Business Administration) with at least 15-20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, therapeutic health products, or related industries.Minimum of 8 years of executive management experience, successfully leading functions such as sales, marketing, business development, or finance across multiple settings (affiliate, region, headquarters).At least 8 years of experience in people management, with a track record of leading and developing high-performing cross-functional teams, ideally managing leaders of leaders.Strong understanding of public affairs and stakeholder engagement, as interactions with external parties are critical to the roles success.Possess an entrepreneurial mindset with a strong frontline focus, demonstrating the ability to inspire and engage through impactful communication, while exemplifying compliance and ethics, and exhibiting innovative thinking alongside a robust cultural understandingWorking at Novo NordiskWe are a proud life-science company, and life is our reason to exist.
