Football is the game everyone Can Play Anytime Anywhere.General Manager Finance is responsible for applying a broad perspective on the ongoing growth and performance of football in South Australia. It includes managing the integrity of financial functions of the business, including budgeting, reporting, forecasting and cash flow, managing IT and Risk Management. The position includes collaborating with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to ensure best practice leadership and compliance against key result areas and strategic initiatives.The General Manager Finance Key Result Areas (KRAs) are:-Finance and AdministrationManage the preparation of FSAs financial projections, budgets and reports and oversee the administration of all financial accounts;Provide financial advice, support and guidance to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to mitigate long-term financial risks and develop best practice financial management plans;Assist the CEO to ensure that financial policies, systems, and processes promote and protect the financial position of the organisation;Manage the preparation and monitor cash flow projections for multiple projects;Ensure appropriate financial controls are attained and responsible for ensuring the appropriate infrastructure is provided and compiled with;Collaborate with the Finance Officer to ensure the integrity of monthly financial reports and statements for the Board reporting and Finance Committee;Oversee the preparation of annual financial statements and collaborate with external finance professionals to ensure accurate audit requirements and standards are maintained;Monitor the wider organisational financial performance and advise and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies to ensure financial controls;Oversee the management of FSAs assets.Human ResourcesLead, manage and develop the Finance Department team to ensure efficient and effective operation of the department;Ensure payroll is administered in accordance with employment contracts and legislative requirements;Oversee the development and administration of employment contracts and job descriptions;Ensure personnel files are administered and records maintained;Oversee and drive compliance of FSAs work health and safety systems, policies and procedures.Information Technology and SystemsEnsure continued development and implementation of a long-term IT strategy which supports FSA''s strategic direction.Ensure the corporate information systems are fit for purpose and adequately maintained.Risk and ComplianceManage business risk practices, providing effective risk mitigation and management across the business;Manage, monitor and report on FSA compliance with all statutory, funding, grant, contractual & legislative obligations;Ensure appropriate insurance policies and coverage are in place for participation and business purposes;Ensure appropriate operating procedures and internal audit processes, and controls are in place.Please submit a resume and a compelling cover letter directly to email, including why you would be a good fit for the General Manager, Finance of Football South Australia by Monday 21st July.e: josie.lahey@oneelevate.comm: +61 478 803 255Ramesh Somasundaram, Principal, APACe: ramesh.somasundaram@oneelevate.comm: +61 433 491 524Only candidates who have the right to work in Australia will be considered.ELEVATE TALENTElevate Talent is a global executive search firm and talent consultancy that helps clients navigate their complex and ever-evolving talent challenges.
