Apply now Job no: 503439Work type: PermanentLocation: South BrisbaneCategories: Pharmacy technicianAbout the roleMater Pharmacy are looking for a Pharmacy Assistant or Technician to join our Community and Outpatient Services team on a permanent full-time basis.Mater Pharmacy operates three community pharmacies in South Brisbane and offers a professional pharmacy service to community members and hospital outpatients. This presents a valuable opportunity to enhance the health and wellbeing of hospital visitors, patients, staff, and the broader South Brisbane community, while fostering a cohesive, collaborative, and inter-professional team environment at Mater Community Pharmacies.Supplying Medications to Specialty Clinics: Youll assist in the medication supply for our outpatient clinics, including those catering to cystic fibrosis, dialysis, and eye clinic patients.Liaising with Mater Mothers Hospital Patients: Supporting their maternity needs, including managing our unique breast pump hire service featuring the Medela Symphony Pump.Assisting with our Community Vaccination Clinic: Our clinic services the public for their National Immunisation Program vaccination needs as well as servicing the pre-commencement and booster vaccination needs of our hospital staff, nurses and doctors.Managing Dose Administration Aids: Ensuring our patients receive their medications accurately and on time by organising and managing dose administration aids.Collaborating with Health Professionals: Youll have the opportunity to work directly with our health professional colleagues, who also rely on our pharmacy for their personal medication needs.Monday to Friday rosterThis role will be based at our South Brisbane campus at Mater Pharmacy Vulture Street and/ or Mater Pharmacy Raymond Terrace.About youTo be considered for this role you will have:A professional attitude, effective communication skills and a high level of attention to detailPassion for customer service and appreciation of the importance of delivering exceptional service every timeProfessional, hardworking attitude and willing to work cooperatively and effectively with all team membersPrevious relevant work experience is highly desirableCompleted Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy (or equivalent)Were looking for passionate individuals to join our team and help shape the future of care.
