Were on the hunt for a passionate and hands on Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our dynamic food and beverage offerings at the WACA Ground. Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, youll be at the heart of delivering exceptional service across our caf, events, match day and food outlets.How youll make an impactSupport the Food & Beverage Manager in the hands-on day-to-day operations of the departmentSupervise and lead front-of-house and back-of-house teams across all food and beverage outletsMaintain high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, and presentationEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing lawsMaintain a strong hands-on customer service presence on the caf floor, ensuring guests are welcomed, service standards are upheld, and any issues are promptly addressedWork closely with the kitchen and events teams to ensure seamless service deliveryContribute to menu planning, promotional activities, and budgeting as requiredLead the execution of all internal and external events delivering exceptional guest experiences from setup to pack-down, including hostingOversee staff rosters while controlling labour costsAssist with staff onboarding and trainingCollaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to forecast needs, track expenses, and support financial targetsA great fit for this role looks likeRelevant qualifications in hospitality (desirable).Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality or food & beverageStrong leadership and team coordination skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple prioritiesSound understanding of food safety, hygiene, and liquor licensing regulationsFlexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidaysHeres what you can look forward toOur people benefits include Membership passes to all cricket games at the WACA Ground and at Optus Stadium, onsite gym access, Birthday Leave, salary packaging, employee recognition program, discounts on cricket merchandise, corporate health insurance discount, corporate partner discounts, flexible work arrangements, professional development opportunities and more!A little bit about usAt WA Cricket we aim to be leaders in Australian sport and pride ourselves on developing inspiring players, creating a fun and inclusive community and delivering social outcomes through cricket.
