This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a structured, active environment while making a positive impact every day.What Youll Be DoingIn this hands-on role, youll be responsible for the daily operation of the on-site gym and pool, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and support for defence personnel.Key duties include:Opening and closing the gymMonitoring pool and gym safety and responding to incidents with First Aid and CPRChecking IDs and managing member sign-insSupporting Physical Training Instructors with setup and pack-downMaintaining cleanliness, equipment, and loan itemsManaging bookings and customer enquiriesReporting maintenance issues and participating in stocktakesWhat Youll BringCurrent First Aid and Royal Life Saving Society Pool Lifeguard certificate (required)Strong swimming ability (must demonstrate ability to touch 6m pool floor within 6 months)Great communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and follow safety proceduresProfessional and reliable work ethicWillingness to undergo Baseline Security ClearanceAvailability for weekday shifts with potential for weekend overtimeAbout BGISBGIS is a global leader in facilities management, with 10,000+ employees managing 50,000+ facilities across Defence, Government, Healthcare, Education, and Utilities.
