We specialise in providing occupational hygiene, environment, and hazardous materials services, training, support, and solutions for our clients.The opportunityAs the RED OHMS Group continues to grow, our small but busy Hazmat and Occupational Hygiene team is looking for a driven and motivated team member to assist the Project Coordinator to deliver client services and project coordination with scheduling, invoicing, quoting, training administration and office management. The role will include coordination of lab operations to ensure this area of the business continues to operate smoothly and effectively.This role would be ideal for someone with a strong background in project administration and a keen interest in laboratory administration and operational support.Project AdministrationKey responsibilities of the positionAssist with scheduling and management of rosters and schedules for the teamAssist the Project Coordinator in communication and liaison activities with clients and team members in the fieldMonitor email inboxes and allocate requests from current and prospective clients for action to relevant team membersAssist the Project Coordinator with other project and training administration activities as requiredLab ManagementManage and maintain all calibration and equipment records in our Plant & Equipment software solutionEnsure well maintained and calibrated equipment and consumable are available for each project, including coordinating the hire of equipment as neededPack and organise kits and equipment for field consultants with high workloadsTrack usage and analyse cost benefits of hired equipment against purchased equipmentOrganize maintenance and repair of equipmentParticipate in sample analysis training to further support team workload and the timely delivery of projects (optional)To be successful in this positionCert IV in Business Administration (desirable)Diploma of Laboratory Technology or Cert II/IV in Laboratory Techniques (desirable)Tertiary qualification in business management, laboratory technology, science, or related field (desirable)Experience/exposure to project administration or similar role, (desirable)Industry experience/exposure or similar (desirable)Interest in working within a project/laboratory environmentAbility to balance multiple tasks and conflicting prioritiesWhat We OfferThe chance to shape and influence a supportive workplace culture in a rapidly growing organisationA work environment where peoples health, safety and wellbeing is our top priorityLearning and development opportunities for personal growthA workplace thats not just diverse but fun and supportiveWellbeing support for you and your familyOur valuesWe look after each otherWe work with integrity and respectWe take accountability for our actionsWe work efficiently, are committed, and are driven to succeed.
