We also seek out and celebrate diversity in all its forms and tap into the richness of ideas, experiences and perspectives that it brings.About the OpportunityThe Safety and Wellbeing Manager position represents a critical leadership opportunity to drive comprehensive workplace safety excellence within ECH''s self-insured operational framework.This role offers the unique chance to coordinate and enhance both Work Health and Safety (WHS) systems and injury management processes, ensuring full compliance with legislative requirements while maintaining the specialised standards necessary for self-insured organisations.As the oversight authority for injury claims management and early intervention programs, this role enables direct impact on employee welfare and organisational resilience through strategic implementation of contemporary safety systems.About YouThe ideal Safety and Wellbeing Manager will possess comprehensive expertise in WHS legislation, Return to Work Act regulations, and Return to Work SA Performance Standards, coupled with proven experience implementing and maintaining safety systems within self-insured environments.Essential qualifications include demonstrated experience managing workplace injury claims, executing early intervention strategies, coordinating return-to-work programs, and conducting thorough claim investigations and rehabilitation processes.The successful candidate will bring proven leadership capabilities in guiding safety committees, cultivating positive safety cultures, and engaging employees across all organisational levels, alongside technical expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment, incident investigation, and control measure implementation.This professional will demonstrate strong analytical skills in developing preventative safety initiatives through comprehensive trend analysis, while embracing change and exhibiting curiosity, innovation, and collaborative teamwork to drive organisational excellence.The role requires a leader who takes full ownership of safety outcomes, maintains unwavering accountability through consistent delivery, and constructively challenges existing practices to foster continuous improvement in workplace safety and wellbeing.Certification in Work Health and Safety, Return to Work Coordinator accreditationNational Police CheckDrivers LicenceSome Perks for YouAs part of a not-for-profit organisation, you will be able to salary package up to $18,549 per year to reduce your tax.Be MORE at ECH!
