16 hours ago Be among the first 25 applicantsWe are looking for a talented and motivated Graphic Designer to join our client, a local Council in Sydney, for a short term contract.The OpportunityIn this exciting contract role, you will play a pivotal role in creating engaging and impactful visual communication materials. You''ll work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to develop designs that meet specific project needs and objectives.What You''ll DoDevelop, design and create clear and strategically led digital and tangible assets to meet briefs.Develop creative toolkits, design templates, 3D digital graphics and animation.Be a brand champion for the organisation by reviewing, upholding and maintaining Councils brand and style guide.Work across live digital marketing campaigns, brand guidelines, virtual and live events and broadcast.Liaise with a panel of external graphic designers, photographers and videographers for the creation of digital and print assetsManage and maintain Council''s image and asset libraryWork cooperatively and collaboratively within the wider communications and marketing teamBuild strong and positive relationships with key external and internal stakeholdersShoot photo and video at Council events as requiredCreate, develop and edit content for core digital channels, ensuring alignment and suitability for other channels including mobile, eDMs, and social media.Do you have:A relevant design qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Design, Diploma of Graphic Design).Minimum 2 years'' experience in a similar graphic design role.A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.A self-motivated and proactive approach to work.Local Government experience is preferredAbout Public Sector PeoplePublic Sector People is a leading recruitment agency specialising in connecting talented professionals with rewarding opportunities within the NSW Public Sector.
