Our team of dedicated professionals are united by a shared passion for creating lasting, meaningful outcomes for the communities we serve, and this is reflected in Our Vision, Water for Life , Our Promise - Safe for Life, and Our Values of integrity, respect, care, and courage that shape everything we do.Youll be working on some of the most high-profile water infrastructure provider in the industry, helping to secure Water for Life for generations to come.About Your OpportunityIn this role, you will provide specialist advice, support, and assurance for Seqwaters capital delivery program, overseeing the project lifecycle from early engagement with First Nations parties to handover to Operations.You will ensure compliance with legislation, policy, and obligations while managing Indigenous and non-Indigenous heritage to uphold Seqwaters social licence.Your role includes governance, consultation, communication, and coordination to maintain consistency across projects. Strong planning, stakeholder engagement, and coordination skills are essential for delivering positive, lasting outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate the delivery of services, supporting the management of heritage-related considerations in infrastructure project planning and delivery, including both non-Indigenous and Indigenous heritage matters.Provide governance, audit, and assurance across the project portfolios with respect to environmental obligations and compliance.Identify, plan, and coordinate heritage requirements, such as duty of care compliance or approvals/agreements, in conjunction with project schedules and other disciplines.Support the Cultural Heritage Operations team to deliver targeted initiatives, enhancing appreciation of Cultural Heritage management and improving performance across the project portfolio.Plan, manage, and oversee cultural heritage projects from inception to completion, including agreement-making with Traditional Owners and other related Aboriginal Cultural Heritage legislative processes.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will possess:Bachelors degree in archaeology, heritage management, heritage conservation, anthropology, law, or a similar field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cultural heritage management, conservation, or a related field.Demonstrated experience providing technical advice to project teams on complex non-Indigenous and Indigenous cultural heritage management matters.Demonstrated experience engaging, negotiating, and maintaining relationships with Traditional Owner groups and organisations.Understanding and working knowledge of applicable legislation and heritage principles and practices.Interpersonal and written skills with proven ability to communicate and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.This position has a salary range of $122,730.25 - $133,528.77 (dependent on experience) plus 12.75% superannuation.Appointment to this role is subject to the provision of a national police check and may be subject to other medical/character requirements.
