We provide global consultancy advice and support on a wide range of strategic and project-specific issues to a diverse and growing base of business, regulatory and governmental clients.Our Occupational Hygiene and Hazardous Materials (OHHM) team has an opportunity for a Senior Occupational Hygiene Consultant, with a specialty in hazardous materials management, to join our Darwin Office. This is a Full-Time role within a growing team as part of a wider multidisciplinary team of environmental consultants. We are hoping to connect with candidates of a wide range of experience ranging from 3-7 years, with an entrepreneurial mind who can hit the ground running.Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesWorking alongside industry leaders in Occupational Hygiene and Hazardous Materials, you will ideally have an interest and enthusiastic approach to working within the Asbestos sector. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Identification & Conducting Asbestos/HAZMAT SurveysAsbestos fibre monitoring & fibre countingProviding technical advice on Hazmat and occupational health issuesSupervision of Asbestos/HAZMAT removalClient liaison, quotes, tenders and Project ManagementPreparation of Technical Reports and deliver projects to budget and in a timely mannerConfidence in your ability with a positive attitude to engage team and wider officeReceive support in diversifying experience and skillset as an Occupational HygienistSkills and ExperienceLicensed Asbestos Assessor (LAA) is essential or relevant experience which enables you to gain LAA within a brief timeframeExperience within the HAZMAT industry coupled with relevant qualificationsStrong consulting background with excellent writing abilityHAZMAT survey experience along with a valid driver''s licenceAn understanding of reporting requirements and Project ManagementExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFull working rights in Australia or an Australian CitizenshipYou will have keen interest in Occupational Hygiene & Hazardous Materials and be driven to continue ongoing learning and development.Willingness to work onsite, as well as undertake occasional regional travelOur BenefitsWe are proud of our unique culture where we work together to collaborate on projects to get the best possible outcome for our clients.
