About us Ward 7 West is a 36 bed acute medical ward caring for patients admitted under the care of the Infectious Diseases, Gastroenterology and Palliative Care medical units. The 7 West team focuses on a team nursing model of care to deliver patient centred care. About the Role: The role of the AIN is to provide support to the nursing team in the delivery of safe and quality patient centred care. The AIN works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse at all times. A clear list of AIN duties and excluded duties can be found in the attached position description.
