This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator or someone ready to take the next step in their career and develop their leadership skills under the guidance of highly experienced and committed professionals.This position will:Lead the educational program from 3:00pm to 6:00pm during term time, with a strong focus on delivering meaningful and authentic learning experiences each afternoon.Collaborate closely with the Director of Early Learning and the Educational Leader to coordinate, lead, and implement the program during term breaks.Inspire and guide a team of educators, fostering a positive, collaborative, and enriching learning environment for both staff and children.Six weeks of annual leaveAn attractive leadership allowanceMentoring and support from a highly experienced leadership teamOpportunity to grow professionally in a supportive and innovative learning environmentACECQA recognised university qualification in Early Childhood TeachingCurrent NESA registrationCurrent ACECQA approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma certificationsCurrent ACECQA approved Child Protection training or willingness to obtainWillingness to be the Responsible PersonSafe Food Supervisor qualifications or willingness to obtainAvailability to work 10.30am - 6.10pm Monday - Friday during term time and flexible shift times during term breakDemonstrated understanding of current early education and care legislation regulations and pedagogy including the EYLF and Reggio Emilia approachPrevious leadership and or management experience in an early education and care setting is desirableHigh level interpersonal skills, demonstrated initiative and proactive problem solving abilityDemonstrated strengths-based approach in working with children, families and colleaguesCurrent WWCCSound computer skillsTo apply for this position, please visit our website, www.igssyd.nsw.edu.auHere you will be able to review the Position Description and our Privacy Policy and learn more about International Grammar School.
