About the Project: Join UGLs Manufacturing and Maintenance division as we embark on the landmark New Intercity Fleet (NIF) project. This initiative will revolutionise train services for customers traveling from Sydney to the Central Coast, Newcastle, the Blue Mountains, and the South Coast. About Your Role: Join our dynamic and inclusive team as a Senior Contract Coordinator, where your expertise and leadership will play a critical role in managing the administration of Project Deeds and subcontracts for the NSW Passenger Business. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with customers and act as a key point of contact on matters related to payment claims, attribution, variations, defects, and reporting. - Establish and maintain effective systems and processes for subcontracts management. - Drive compliance with the Project Deed and ensure performance-based contract administration plans are developed and implemented. - Prepare progress and performance reports, identify variations, and manage supplier deliverables. - Foster continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for streamlining processes and increasing efficiency. - Lead by example, inspiring collaboration and the achievement of shared goals with the NSW Passenger Project Team. - Maintain compliance with company policies while upholding high standards of workplace safety, inclusivity, and quality. - Communicate effectively across teams to achieve goals. - Weekly coordination of train movements with external client. About You: You bring a wealth of experience in contract management or administration, particularly resolving commercial and contractual matters, within a diversified organisation. Key Skills and Experience: - SAP Proficiency: Preferred e xperience with SAP for both transactional and reporting purposes, ensuring data-driven decision-making and efficient operations - Multi-Tasking Capabilities: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks or projects concurrently, effectively meeting deadlines and ensuring project success. - Communication Excellence: Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and network effectively at all organizational levels, both horizontally and vertically. - Knowledge of quality management systems as well as maintenance or asset management processes. - Team-oriented and customer-focused, committed to achieving shared objectives with the NSW Passenger Project Team. - Highly accountable and results-driven, with a strong focus on attention to detail. - Industry experience in rail, automotive, military, defence, avionics, or another safety-critical environment (highly regarded). Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Law, Project Management) and/or equivalent work experience.
