Every role plays a part in delivering trusted, Australian-made technology thats built to perform.The Role:The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales strategy and identifying opportunities in diverse industries including utilities, environmental monitoring, and agriculture. It is important that this role has a customer-first approach, can translate technical information into non-technical formats, and wants to own the entire sales process and outcomes. This is a key role within Halytech and an important part of the senior leadership team.Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy & ExecutionOwn the sales function and outcomes.Help set targets and then develop and implement sales plans to meet them.Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets.Manage and expand distributor and reseller relationships including international markets (as agreed).Champion customer requirements and be the voice of the prospective customer into the business.Work with clients to define requirements and generate product and solution quotesConduct product demonstrations and presentations.Provide pre- and post-sales support in collaboration with technical teams.Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings.Share insights with the wider business, including product and marketing teams.Identify opportunities for product or service improvements.Reporting & ForecastingMaintain accurate sales records and forecasts.Report on pipeline status and key account progress.Use, or introduce, relevant tools and techniques to track interactions and opportunities.TeamContribute to the broader development of Halytech as a senior leader, supporting cross-functional initiatives and company-wide growth.What does Success look like:Sustained, repeatable, revenue and customer growth.Customers love us - high customer satisfaction and retention.Product roadmap is fully aligned with customer needs over the short, medium and long-term.Capabilities and Experience: Minimum 5 years'' experience in technical/industrial product sales managementDemonstrated success in identifying opportunities, driving and closing sales.Experienced in developing and executing sales plans to meet and exceed targets.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to translate technical features into customer benefits.Experience selling to government, infrastructure, or environmental sectors is an advantage.Must have permanent right to work in AustraliaRemuneration:Base Salary:$110,000-$125,000 per annumAllowances:Plus car and phone allowanceCommission:Structured with high earning potential based on performanceWhy Join Halytech?Join a growing Australian technology company where your impact as Sales Manager will be direct, visible, and valued.
