Must come from a chippy background.Our client is an established and highly regarded head contrcator who are now seeking an experienced Leading Head to join their professional and highly experienced team based in Sydney.Project you will be working on is vary from $5m - $45m across residential, hotel, commercial, government projects and more.As the Leading Hand, you will be responsible for managing sub-contractors, coordinating site personnel and for the management of all on site logistics, quality, OH&S and keeping the job to short term program.You will be reporting to the Site Manager.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Preparation of construction programmes and oversee / coordinate daily worksManaging sub contractors and tradesPrepare and action defects reportEnsuring all work is carried out efficiently and to a high quality standardLiaise with client and Project Manager to ensure construction programme is adhered toQualifications and Requirements:Trade background or degree qualificationMinimum 3 to 5 years experience working, ideially for a tier 2/3 head contractorOverseen a site of circa 30-50 peopleWorked with steel framesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven people management skills with the ability to motivate and drive teamsTeam player who can lead by examplePossess a solid work history with long tenure in rolesExperience in MS Project would be highly regarded but not essentialThis is a permanent full time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and career progression.If you have the skills and experience that we are looking for, click Apply to submit your resume.
