This 11-month secondment is based in Sydney.About the roleMaintain systems that accurately account for the Bank''s banknote stock holding and transactions. Ensure developments and changes align with immediate business requirements and the Bank''s strategic needs. Maintain positive engagement with internal and external stakeholders.Provide administration support for NI systems and ensure access to users and configurable settings of owned systems remain appropriate through periodic review.Liaise with commercial banks, cash-in-transit companies and Bank staff to ensure wholesale banknote consignments and other ad hoc transactions can be completed with no issues, and ensure correct settlement is made.Ensure related financial accounts and internal holdings correctly reflect banknote transactions through reconciliation of accounts and holdings.Maintain the Damaged Banknotes Policy, ensure claims are reimbursed in accordance with the Policy''s claim requirements and liaise with members of the public on matters relating to damaged banknotes claims.Provide updates to management on developments and trends in banknote issue and contribute to preparation of data for analysis.About youSubstantial experience in liaising with other parties, both internal and external.Proven experience in handling complex operational issues and ensuring appropriate solutions are implemented.Knowledge and experience with databases and Excel.Test data and test environment management.Aptitude for analytical and research work.Leadership and one-on-one feedback skills.QualificationsRelevant tertiary qualifications, eg.
