Gurriny Yealamucka Health Services Aboriginal Corporation (GYHSAC) is seeking a full-time Public Health Nurses.About usGYHSAC is the Community controlled Indigenous health provider to over 4000 residents of Yarrabah: Australias largest First Nations community. Located east of Cairns - less than an hour drive from the city centre.GYHSAC is a cornerstone of the Yarrabah Community and strives to provide culturally appropriate, autonomous primary health services initiated, planned, and governed by the Community through their elected Aboriginal Board of Directors.The PositionThe Yarrabah Public Health Program is a dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of the Yarrabah Aboriginal community through proactive, culturally responsive, and evidence-based public health initiatives.
