Your role will incorporate:Planning, control and directing the provision of a range of high quality personal, clinical care and support services that encourage and enable residents to maintain their autonomy and independenceManaging the budgetary requirements of the facilityManaging the smooth running of the facility on a day-to-day basisLeading the team and managing staff performance, recruitment and selection and building a positive culture within the teamEnsuring all SCC policies and procedures are implemented and followed, taking a continuous improvement approach whilst adhering to all accreditation standards.RequirementsYou are a current Registered Nurse with extensive Aged Care and AN-ACC experience and already managing a facility and looking for a new challenge, in a new location, or a local and looking for that next step up the ladder.In Addition, You Will HaveA motivational leadership style with the ability to build a collaborative team environmentExperience managing a 24/7 roster and workforce planningProficient numeracy skills - reconciliations, reporting and budgetingSensitivity to and understanding of the aspirations and needs of older people with the ability to connect with them, their families, and the local communityExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenEvidence of COVID-19 vaccinationsProven experience of stakeholder management at all levelsSummaryAbout Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT)We are a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to empower older people to live life to the full.
