We are committed to creating a positive work culture that fosters growth and development while ensuring the health and safety of our employees.Why join Clean Earth?In Addition To Competitive Pay, We Also OfferHealth benefits available Day 1401k available Day 110+ paid holidays/yearFree HAZWOPER training and certificationOvertime opportunitiesAbility to be cross-trained into different rolesJob DescriptionThe Construction Manager plans and directs the activities of the regional Beneficial Use Facilities under the direction of Clean Earth, LLC senior management.Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions)Responsible for the overall management of Clean Earth Northeastern Beneficial Use Facilities including approval, receipt, delivery and placement operations, maintenance, and proper utilization of staff and equipment.Oversee operations and maintenance activities for all aspects of the project locations.Work with individuals at various levels and roles inside and outside the organization, including hourly and salaried employees, managers and leadership, vendors, partners, regulatory agency staff, community members and local representatives.Directly and indirectly manage a team of supervisors and hourly facility processing staff including laborers, scale operators, equipment operators, administrative staff, and technical support roles along with oversight of sub-contractors and suppliers.Work in partnership with the safety team to actively ensure a safe and healthy work environment with a consistent focus on continuous improvement, safe work practices, and positive employee health and wellbeing.Generate reports for senior management and regulatory agencies.Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with plans & specifications and applicable Federal, State and local regulatory requirements.Maintain positive relationships with all state and local regulatory agencies.Responsible for facility compliance, transportation logistics, and overall profitabilityRecommend new work practices, coordinate flow of data to and from management, control expenditures, and recommend equipment upgrades or replacementEffectively communicate company programs and initiatives to all direct and indirect employeesQualificationsBasic Required Qualifications:Bachelors degree in environmental/civil engineering, environmental science, or business management recommended.8+ years experience in facility operations, with at least 5 years in supervisory capacityExperience in the operation of treatment, processing, recycling, and/or transfer facilitiesPreferred QualificationsAbility to plan and supervise the work of others and motivate and lead teamsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsProblem-solving skillsSelf-directed with the ability to work under pressure and manage several projects simultaneouslyCreative thinker with ability to consider out of the box solutionsStrong analytical and presentation skillsAdditional InformationClean Earth offers competitive benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance and disability plans, as well as a 401k with company matching.We provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or genetics.
