The role will also support the ongoing improvement of AEROs financial systems, processes and policies.AccountabilitiesManage and maintain customer and vendor contact files with 100% accuracy including some relationship management.Timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions.Assist with ongoing financial management improvement across the organisation, including playing a key role in identifying the need, development and implementation of new and revised systems, processes and policies.Liaise with internal departments to ensure the smooth administration of finance-related activities.Manage the Finance in-box and action all emails.Assist with the development and ongoing management of budgets.Assist with month end process.Assist with other finance tasks as required.Knowledge, Skills And ExperienceEssential requirements:Tertiary qualifications in finance and / or related experience in financeKey Knowledge And ExperienceExperience using accounting systems such as Xero and Approval Max.Knowledge of and experience in applying accounting and finance related concepts.Experience working in a small finance team and across a broad range of finance related tasks.SkillsStrong communication skills and the capacity to work effectively with people at various levels of seniority.Strong skills using Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.AERO welcomes applicants who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.How to apply?Please submit an online application:CV and a Cover Letter describing your interest in and suitability for the role addressing the skills and experience above.Brief (max.150 words each) responses to the following questions:How do you manage competing priorities, and multiple stakeholders, in your work?Please describe a time when you identified a financial risk or discrepancy in an organisations accounts.
