The Digital Enablement Program is a key component, involving ICT realignment, platform renewal and organisation-wide change.About the Role | Chief Technology OfficerReporting to the CIO, the Chief Technology Officer will lead the development and delivery of the departments ICT strategy. You will oversee technology operations and planning across digital systems, cyber security, infrastructure, information governance and service delivery.You will contribute to major ICT projects and platform implementation, manage risk and performance, and support the alignment of ICT with the departments strategic goals and broader government directions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and implementation of technology strategy and architectureProvide forward-thinking advice on ICT trends, innovations and investment opportunitiesOversee IT service delivery including risk, performance and incident managementManage strategic ICT procurement and vendor partnershipsImplement robust governance frameworks across cybersecurity, digital operations and infrastructureCollaborate with internal teams, executive leadership and external stakeholders to align ICT with business needsChampion a culture of innovation, capability uplift and high performance across ICT teams.About YouThe ideal candidate is a senior technology executive with a proven ability to deliver complex ICT projects and services within government.
