Constituted by an Intergovernmental Agreement among State and Territory Governments, ARNECC comprises the Land Titles Registrars (or their nominees) from each jurisdiction and is responsible for overseeing the regulatory framework enabled by the Electronic Conveyancing National Law (ECNL).The Opportunity:We are seeking an outstanding and forward-thinking Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead ARNECC through a period of transformation and strategic growth. This is a rare opportunity to influence a national regulatory system that underpins the property and legal sectors across Australia.Key Responsibilities:Reporting to the Chair, lead and deliver ARNECCs long-term strategic direction, including ARNECC 2.0.Drive operational excellence and national consistency in e-conveyancing regulation.Represent ARNECC in high-level government and industry forums across jurisdictions.Foster effective relationships with Registrars, Electronic Lodgement Network Operators (ELNOs), stakeholders, and government agencies.Inspire and manage a high-performing team to deliver regulatory and organisational outcomes.Ensure ARNECCs accountability, performance, and financial sustainability.Lead innovation, risk management, and reform across a complex regulatory environment.About You:You will be a strategic and influential leader with:Proven experience in executive leadership and strategy development.A deep understanding of regulatory environments and government frameworks.Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and cross-jurisdictional collaboration.Strong change leadership skills and a track record of improving organisational performance.Exceptional influencing, judgement, communication, and decision-making capabilities.Experience in public sector or regulatory leadership roles will be highly regarded, along with familiarity with the property, legal, finance or technology sectors.You will also possess:Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, including business, legal and/or finance.Why Join ARNECC?This is a unique national leadership opportunity to drive meaningful reform and innovation in a sector critical to Australias economy and society.
