We are committed to advancing professionalism, ethics, education, and advocacy across the industry.The RoleAs CEO, you will be responsible for all aspects of the organisations strategy, operations, and representation. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will lead the implementation of the Strategic Plan 20252030 while ensuring the AVAA as NFP organisation operates efficiently and delivers value to its members.Key Responsibilities:Strategic & Operational Leadershipincluding leadingthe delivery of the20252030 Strategic Plan across key pillars: Member engagement & growth / Industry advocacy / Education & training advancement / Operational excellenceDevelopment of annual operational plans and budgetsPreparation and presenting Board agendas, reports, and financials with quarterly Board reporting on KPIs and risksManaging the AGM and other formal Association meetingsManaging all aspects of membership engagement, retention, and supportActing as the face of the AVAA, representing the Association to Members, Government and regulators, industry bodies and international partnersBuilding and maintaining strategic relationships to support collaboration and advocacyPlanning and delivery of the AVAA Annual ConferencePlanning, development and promotion of CPD programs & professional developmentManagement of AVAAs Learning Management SystemExploring new education partnerships and learning content opportunitiesOverseeing all communications including member newsletters, website updates and social mediaCoordinating webinars, forums, and other member engagement activitiesEnsuring compliance with governance, legal, and financial obligationsAbout YouYou are a resilient, motivated professional who can lead and deliver independently.
