Reporting to the Supervisor Planner Assets, you will be responsible for providing accurate weekly schedules that optimise resource, material and equipment utilisation to achieve the highest level of maintenance efficiency and equipment reliability of the Port fixed plant assets.Duties:Develop detailed weekly maintenance and production schedules that include optimised sequencing, resourcing, and equipment utilisation.Chair weekly schedule review meetings with the key stakeholders to determine priority, work scope, maintenance opportunities and work durations.Weekly schedules are delivered on time aligned with the work management process.Ensure costs are minimised by constantly reviewing maintenance practices and identifying areas for improving efficiencies and productivity.Monitor work order backlog, action as per Weekly Maintenance Scheduling Specification.Maximise FTE Resource utilization during Maintenance Outages and Major Shut PeriodsContinuous improvement of the weekly maintenance and production work management processSkills and Experience:Maintenance planning and/or scheduling experiencePlanning and scheduling qualification at certificate level or aboveSound skills in SAP plant maintenance moduleExtensive experience with MS Office Suite of programs especially Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and Project.Ability and skills to detect inflated budgets, identifies and eliminates wasteful and obsolete operations and find cost effective ways to current practicesPort Hedland Facilities:Modern, comfortable camp accommodationConvenient walking access to South Hedland town facilities and shopsHigh quality gourmet food options (vegan, gluten free and healthy options)Fully equipped fitness centre facilitySWIFT In-room entertainment with comprehensive content and own-device casting capabilityActive social club with community events and activities for employeesLifestyle, Learning and Recreation initiative which provide events for your familyVillage shop and extensive supporting amenitiesAbout Hancock Iron OreThe world of iron ore is evolving, and so are we.
