Reporting to the General Managers of Hotel Morris Sydney & The Sebel Sydney Martin Place, this role is key in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the Hotels. Duties include preventative, predictive and reactive works whilst building relationships with fellow Heartists & external contractors.What Will You Be Doing?Assisting the General Manager in the day-to-day maintenance requirements of the HotelsMaintaining the building, plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings on the HotelsEnsuring the Hotels remain a functionable, pleasant and safe environment for all guests, visitors & HeartistsConducting maintenance requirements and follow ups as scheduled & logged by the Hotels systemsEnsuring all equipment is maintained, used and stored correctlyQualificationsWhat We Are Looking For:Previous experience working on the maintenance of hotels, fixed plant or equipment systems.Knowledge of preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance strategies.Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general repairsAn individual who enjoys working in dynamic environmentsGood written and verbal communication skills.Self-motivated person who takes a proactive approach to work and is punctual and reliable.Ability to accommodate flexibility with shifts including weekend workAdditional InformationWhats in it for you?An opportunity to Work Your Way, Learn Your Way and experience Benefits Your Way at AccorAbility to really contribute and feel pride in knowing you have made a difference to the greater good of the Hotel OperationWork alongside passionate industry professionalsBe mentored by experienced Accor Hospitality professionals who want to see you succeed!Our Commitment To Diversity & InclusionWe are an inclusive company, and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
