We''re looking for an eCommerce Warehouse Assistant to join our growing team in Chatswood. You''ll play a vital role in ensuring our online orders for Japanese groceries and sake are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time.About the RoleWorking from our Chatswood warehouse, you''ll be primarily responsible for the picking and packing of orders for our eCommerce websites, which specialise in Japanese groceries and premium sake. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive approach, strong teamwork, and excellent time management skills.Jun Pacific is a leading importer and distributor of quality Japanese food and beverages in Australia. We are passionate about sharing the authentic flavours and unique culture of Japan with Australian homes. Our eCommerce ventures, specializing in Japanese groceries and premium sake, are a key part of our mission to bring the best of Japan to our customers'' doorsteps. We pride ourselves on offering an extensive range of high-quality products and delivering exceptional service.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately pick products from shelving according to order slips for both grocery and sake items.Carefully pack orders to ensure safe transit, including appropriate protective packaging for fragile items.Prepare orders for dispatch, including labelling and organising for courier collection.Maintain a tidy and organised warehouse environment.Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations.Provide excellent customer service through accurate order fulfilment.Assist with other general warehouse duties as required.Product & Inventory CoordinationMonitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant teams to optimize stock availability and minimize out-of-stock scenarios.Maintain and organise physical and digital files and documentation relating to the packing process whilst identifying ways to improve and streamline processes.What We''re Looking ForProficiency in both English and Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing)Exceptional attention to detail to ensure order accuracy, especially with diverse product ranges.The physical capability to lift and move cartons weighing up to 20kg .Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively to meet dispatch deadlines.Strong teamwork and customer service skills , with a friendly and helpful attitude.Experience with the Shopify e-Commerce platform is preferred , but not required.This is a casual position with over 20 hours per week .Seniority levelSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesWholesale Food and BeverageReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Jun Pacific Corporation Pty.
