JOB DESCRIPTIONWood is searching for a CDL Truck Driver with hauling experience working in Sidney, MT. This is a part-time fill-in position. Must live within a 50-mile radius of the facility.Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.RESPONSIBILITIES- Safely operate heavy haul trucks.- Comply with all DOT regulations.- Perform routine maintenance on equipment.- Assist in maintaining environmental compliance.- Deliver materials and equipment to field crews.- Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment are in good working order.- Complete a daily vehicle inspection report accurately.- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage.- Check load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy.- Communicate necessary information to bases, supervisors, or other drivers.- Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service and repair status, following applicable regulations.- Obtain necessary block entry permits, as required by client-owned facilities.- Maneuver trucks into fuel loading and refueling positions, following signals from loading crew.- Climb onto heavy industrial equipment and fuel delivery vehicles using manufacturer-recommended access routes.- Recognize the required fuel type for equipment and dispense the appropriate amount.- Maintain accurate logs of dispensed fuels, oils, and fluids and report them timely.- Recognize potential ignition sources and eliminate contact with fuel vapors.- Follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods.QUALIFICATIONS- Class A CDL.- Experience in loading equipment and securing loads.- Proficiency with Electronic Log Book.- Strong time management and communication skills.- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.- At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.- Ability to judge distances and weights accurately.- Ability to respond effectively in emergencies.#woodmt-ndABOUT USWood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, providing solutions in energy and materials markets across 60 countries with around 35,000 employees. www.woodplc.comDiversity StatementWe are an equal opportunity employer valuing diversity.
