The ECG includes Investigation, Special Operations, Inquiries and Compliance, and Enforcement Services. Within Investigation, the Companies and Small Business Portfolio oversees enforcement and compliance activities related to companies and small businesses, including misconduct by registered liquidators. The Assetless Administration Fund (AAF) team, part of this portfolio, assesses complex applications for AA funding and manages grants for liquidators of companies with limited or no assets. The Role As an Analyst or Accountant in the AAF team, your responsibilities include assessing complex applications and supporting the wider ECG team. In This Role You Will Be Required To Assess AA Fund applications according to grant guidelines and procedures. Engage with registered liquidators and their staff regarding applications. Collaborate with other ASIC teams on AA Fund applications. Prepare AA Fund agreements, scope of works, assess quotes, and manage payment requests. Monitor compliance with AA Fund agreements, including report reviews. About You The selection criteria focus on qualifications, experience, and capabilities. Your application will be evaluated based on demonstrated or potential ability to meet these requirements. Bachelor''s degree in accounting, finance, commerce, law, or relevant experience. Experience working independently and accountable for outcomes. Experience interpreting legislation, manuals, and guidelines. Practical industry experience in external administration, investigations, and reporting (desirable). Qualified accountant (CAANZ or CPA) or admitted legal practitioner (desirable).
