ALDI Good Different.About The RoleWe currently have multiple exciting opportunities for Analysts available within our Category Management team of the National Buying department of ALDI stores, based in Minchinbury. These are permanent full-time positions.The Category Management team are responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximise sales and profitability across product categories. This includes analysing market trends, managing supplier relationships, optimising product assortment, and ensuring that pricing aligns to the business objectives.What does the role look like?Create and maintain tools and reports to effectively analyse large data sets across multiple sources and provide key stakeholders with relevant business insights in a timely mannerIdentify performance improvement opportunities and leverage off data-driven insights and recommendations to enable the National Buying department to optimise ranging and category management processesBuild and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional teams to develop and analyse data needsProviding any other support as required by the Executive Manager to support the broader Buying DepartmentWhat do we need from youWhat do we need from you?Advanced demonstrated proficiency with data tools and platforms including SQL and Excel to extract, manipulate and visualise data for reporting purposesDemonstrated commercial experience and knowledge in data visualisation tools (such as Tableau, PowerBI or equivalent)Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and business usersExperience with data analytics tools and software including Tableau, Python, PowerBI highly regardedFMCG/Retail industry experience highly desirableExperience in conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth within assigned categoriesWhat''s in it for you?Enjoy 5 weeks annual leave for pursuing your passions outside of work.Enjoy the flexibility of hybrid work options.Support during lifes most important moments including paid parental leave, including superannuation on parental leave.Complimentary access to free physiotherapy to treat non-work related aches, pains or niggles.Work with a company who has been recognised as an Employer of Choice every year since 2018 - 2024.Access to wellness programs such as discounted health insurance and much more!RemunerationTransparent tiered salary range of $139,200 - $158,800 including SuperannuationReady to embark on a good different career?
