We have transitioned into our new Administration Building in Central Maitland and we are excited to add to our highly skilled team and continue to make a true and meaningful impact on our community.About The RoleMaitland City Council understands that effective and honest engagement is at the heart of local government, and improves community connectedness, wellbeing, and project outcomes.As the Engagement Officer you will play a vital role in contributing to and implementing Council''s Communication and Engagement Strategy, including the delivery of engagement actions. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of engagement activities, and the collation, analysis and interpretation of community engagement data to compile engagement outcome reports.In addition to the above, you will also be required to undertake research, monitor and review key trends in community engagement, and participate and lead community consultation activities that are underpinned by best practice, and which ensure a consistent to engagement across the organisation.About YouTo be successful in this role you will possess tertiary qualifications in business, community engagement, social sciences or communications.You will have experience in statistical analysis and interpretation, with the ability to present data coherently in Council wide strategy documents and engagement plans.
