You will also as it is a small team, gain exposure to the different areas of people and culture - including policy work, reporting, recruitment, onboarding and off-boarding, talent development and learning and development, advising on entitlements and other queries.You will report directly to the People and Culture leader and be exposed to all facets of human resources while helping and supporting our employees and leaders. In addition you will support our volunteer supervisors as they manage an amazing group of volunteers and recruit volunteers and manage their onboarding and offboarding.Like to know more? Read our PD hereAbout YouYou may be working in a recruitment agency or a small HR team but wish to work for an organisation with a purpose or you wish to broaden your skillset while still seamlessly updating systems and processes. You may have administrative experience in a different area and have just finished your degree and wish to gain exposure and experience in an agile and impactful team.Skills and Experiences:Essential Knowledge, Skills And ExperienceExperience/ exposure in a human resource/recruitment functionSound relationship building skills and able to manage different stakeholdersSound written communication skillsTask orientated, highly organised and detail orientated,Team player who wants to learnExcellent oral communication and relationship building skillsDigitally savvy with experience in Office 365 and Microsoft Excel/PowerPointAble to be confidential and manage personal information with integrityAligned to the values, of Baptist World Aid, the International aid and development arm of the Baptist ChurchDesirable Knowledge Skills And ExperienceA bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field or nearing completion of a degreeExperience in HR for 2 or more yearsExperience in HR Systems (ideally ELMO HR Core and LMS).Exposure to other HR systems, processes and policiesWhy work with Baptist World Aid?We want our people to live life to the full and have developed a range of Better World benefits to create a valued employee experience.
