We currently employ over 2,000 personnel across various operations in our active market.Base award hourly rate for this role is $24.98 plus casual loading ($31.22 per hour Mon-Fri).About the roleWe are seeking a Catering Assistant to join the kitchen team at our client''s aged care facility located in Miranda, NSW.Shifts are Monday to Friday, from 06:30 am to 2:30 pm or from 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm.* The successful applicant must have received at least 2 doses of the COVID-19 Vaccine and provide a current Police Check or be willing to apply for one. *Skills and experienceAged Care experience is desirable but not necessary.Reliable and punctual.Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.Empathy and respect towards aged care residents, staff, and clients.The ability to support chefs and the team in a busy kitchen.Key ResponsibilitiesProviding meal service to elderly residentsCleaning of kitchen, serveries, and dining room setupAdhering to and completing quality assurance documentsWashing dishes and plating mealsPreparing salads and sandwiches in the main kitchenSetting up and clearing functionsAssisting the Chef and Chef Manager with daily tasksFood and beverage serviceBenefits and perksThe successful applicant will be offered a competitive hourly rate plus penalty loadings as per Hospitality Award.
