Responsibilities include assisting kitchen staff with food preparation and menu planning, delivering meals, and collecting trays after meals.A typical workday involves checking menus, obtaining food from freezers or fridges, meal preparation, and cooking. The role includes cleaning and assisting other staff, following directions from management and senior staff.The Cook works in a small team of 11 staff, including hospital assistants, on each shift from 0900 to 1730. The role requires flexibility to work shifts on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.Blayney is a growing rural town with a close-knit team dedicated to delivering excellent resident and patient care.
