One way we bring this to life is by hiring and developing exceptional talent, to deliver on our wide array of audit, tax and advisory services.About The RoleOur Change Team is looking to hire two Training Specialists on a full-time, 8 month contract, ideally commencing in July 2025. We are open to this candidate being located in any major Australian city.ResponsibilitiesWorking as part of a Project Change Team, you would be responsible for supporting the training and capability uplift of the business, specifically:Support the Training Manager in the design and development of the Training Strategy, Training Plan, Training Needs Analysis and Training Curriculum Support identification of appropriate training methods to successfully educate usersSupport the maintenance and integrity of the training environment (where applicable)Support the development of training content and materials for key stakeholder persona groupsIdentify resources to support review of training materials and facilitate reviewsSupport the translation of vendor training material (where applicable)Appropriate storage and distribution of training materials, user guides and other on-demand training materialsParticipate in train-the-trainer sessions (where applicable)Support and execute the delivery of trainingSupport design and implementation of assessment methods to measure training effectivenessCollaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and create relevant and engaging learning solutionsImplement effective learning methodologies, such as e-learning, classroom training, workshops, and coaching, to meet the diverse learning styles of employeesSkills/Attributes RequiredProven experience as a Training Specialist or similar role in a project or program environment, with successful delivery and people adoption of changeGood understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologiesGood communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levelsDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentGood understanding of key OD/L&D principles and modelsExperience managing relationships with internal business stakeholders and external partnersDemonstrated ability to transfer skills to team membersQualifications And Experience RequiredExperience as a Training Specialist on projects or changes to systems, processes, ways of working, etc.Good written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.A consultative and adaptable mindset, with the ability to understand and navigate organisational cultures and structures.Professional certification in learning and development/training (desirable)Experience supporting the successful development and execution of a Training StrategyWorkday or Microsoft Dynamics CRM system knowledge is desirableProficiency in learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools, as well as Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, SharePoint Online, PowerPoint, Word, etc.Why BDO?Working for BDO you will be part of a growing and market leading professional services firm.Our national and global footprint provides our people with opportunities to work on interesting client engagements, across diverse industry sectors and services.Our open and collaborative culture ensures access to Partners and professional mentors, to guide and accelerate your professional career, across a wide array of career pathways.We provide our people with various health and wellbeing, social, financial, and professional development benefits to help realise whats possible.Participate in fitness challenges or take advantage of exclusive discounts to corporate health insurance, gym memberships and wellness facilities via our BWell program.
