About The Role An award-winning, well-known, and established builder with a reputation for building quality, custom homes is currently experiencing growth. Due to this, they are looking for an experienced and passionate Sales Consultant to join their team in the Thornton display village. Responsibilities Reporting to an experienced and supportive Sales Manager and backed by a well-oiled, high-functioning administrative team, you will be well-versed in building dream homes on complex blocks, with high-quality finishes, and have a solid understanding of duplex requirements. Your responsibilities will include: Identifying customer needs and determining products to suit their requirements to build their dream home Understanding the fundamentals of building and design, including different blocks and building requirements to determine feasibility for KDR/duplex projects Generating and following up leads to convert to sales Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers Developing external referral relationships with developers and real estate agents Conducting market research to stay informed about the housing industry About You While availability to work on weekends (Saturday & Sunday) is required, the ideal candidate will also be a driven sales hunter comfortable making house call appointments and managing relationships throughout the sales process. You will enjoy bringing clients projects to life, regardless of complexity. Proven track record in new home sales (experience is essential) Thorough understanding of current residential market trends Knowledge of KDR & duplex projects Success in converting leads into sales Understanding of the building industry and architectural plans Ability to build strong relationships Good knowledge of IT systems and processes Ability to work on weekends Remuneration & Benefits The successful candidate will receive a base salary plus a competitive commission structure.
