Tenterfield Care Centre, part of the Apollo Care Alliance, is seeking a Chef/Catering Manager to lead our kitchen team and provide an exceptional dining experience for our residents.About The RoleAs the Chef/Catering Manager, you will be responsible for:Leading and managing the catering team to ensure high standards in food preparation and service.Creating seasonal, nutritious, and appetising menus that cater to residents'' dietary needs and preferences.Ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, food safety regulations, and HACCP requirements.Engaging with residents to understand their meal preferences and continuously enhance their dining experience.Managing kitchen operations, budgets, and staff training to maintain efficiency and quality.About You:To Be Successful In This Role, You Will HaveCertificate IV in Commercial Cookery and a Food Safety Certificate (mandatory).Minimum two years of experience in a similar catering or chef role.Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a kitchen team.Knowledge of aged care dietary requirements, including texture-modified diets and food-based supplementation.A passion for providing high-quality meals that contribute to a homely and enjoyable dining environment.Hold a current NDIS Check (or willing to obtain)Why Join Us?
