It features five food and beverage outlets, a pool, fitness centre, convenience store, and 15 versatile event spaces making it a destination for both leisure and business guests, as well as a premier venue for weddings, conferences, and large-scale functions.About the Role:Were looking for an enthusiastic and guest-focused Front Office Duty Manager to lead our front desk operations and deliver an exceptional first impression to every guest. In this hands-on leadership role, youll be the go-to person for managing daily front office activities, mentoring the team, and ensuring every guest enjoys a smooth and memorable stay. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and service-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-touch hotel environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead and support the front office team to deliver seamless check-in and check-out experiencesRespond to guest queries, feedback, and emergencies with professionalism and careEnsure daily procedures and service standards are consistently upheld across all shiftsCoach, train, and develop team members to foster a high-performing and engaged team cultureOversee daily reservations and room allocations to support occupancy and revenue goalsActively assist at the front desk during peak times, ensuring attention to detail and service excellenceAct as the Manager on Duty in absence of the Hotel Manager, overseeing hotel operations and ensuring guest and team safety at all timesCoordinate emergency procedures and incident responses, ensuring compliance with safety protocolsWork collaboratively with all hotel departments to deliver a unified and guest-centric experienceThis role requires availability to work on a rotating roster, including evenings, overnights, and weekendsAbout You:Experience in a front office supervisory or leadership role within a hotelStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with a guest-first mindsetSolutions-focused and calm under pressure, with the ability to manage unexpected challenges confidentlyProficient in hotel systems (e.g., Opera, PMS) and comfortable with Microsoft Office toolsA team leader who motivates through example and brings energy to every shiftPassionate about hospitality and committed to delivering outstanding guest experiencesAvailable to work on a rotating roster, including evenings, overnights, and weekendsA leadership role within one of the regions most iconic beachfront hotelsAccess to exclusive Oscars Group and Accor discounts on hotel accommodation and food & beverage Free on-site parking during shiftsInternal and external training and development opportunities including an online training platformCareer progression across 45+ venues within the Oscars GroupEmployee Assistance Program for you and your immediate familyReward and recognition initiativesHow do your skills match this job?How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
