Driven by a clear vision and a strong, experienced leadership team, a rare opportunity now exists to join the executive team as they embark on a new phase of disciplined growth.About the opportunity:Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and in conjunction with the executive team, you will lead the strategic direction and drive performance of key corporate functions including; Finance, IT, Legal, Commercial, and People & Culture.Key responsibilities will include:Financial Control, Reporting and Accounting, Operational business partnering and support:Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth and business performance including budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.Provide expert advice to senior leadership to optimise business performance and mitigate risks.Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and associated reporting including ASIC and ATO.Develop and implement reporting system enhancements to meet the evolving requirements of the business.Manage the Groups Treasury obligations ensuring, reporting obligations are achieved and provide the required information for the Lenders reviews.Provide positive leadership and manage the Finance Team ensuring team members are meeting the requirements of their roles.Corporate Finance, Tax and Insurance:Head the financial management including statutory compliance, cash and debt management, lender relations, commercial risk assessment and company insurances.Develop, review and continually improve the Groups compliance, internal controls and governance processes including Customer contract legal reviews.Commercial, IT, Legal and Company Secretarial:Accountable for the overall revenue generation and revenue growth through the commercial function, development and implementation of pricing models, sales and sales strategy and implementation of customer.Ensure fit for purpose contracts and contract compliance.Lead legal, governance, and company secretarial functions including M&A advisory, internal controls, asset protection, and Board administration.Manage the groups property portfolio covering owned and leased.Implementation of company IT strategy.HR, People and Culture:Implementation of people and culture strategy to drive performance and accountability.Lead and develop high-performing teams through visible leadership, coaching, and mentoring.Manage the organisations self-insurance license, injury management practices, and employee health and wellbeing initiatives.About you:You could be an existing CFO who is looking to broaden their experience or an ambitious senior finance professional who possesses the drive, knowledge and capability to take on greater responsibilities. Regardless of your background, you''ll be a natural people leader who can engage, inspire, collaborate and develop high-performing teams across the entire organisation.Essentially, youll offer:Knowledge:Strong technical knowledge and experience in tax, accounting, audit and corporate matters.Experience:Broad exposure and leadership from the corporate environment and/or public accountancy practices. Exposure with Public Markets is also highly desirable.Change management:Skilled at identifying and driving organisational efficiencies across people, processes, and systems.Commercial:An acute external and customer awareness and the ability to demonstrate sound commercial judgement.Analytical:A data-driven approach, an understanding of technology and an ability to translate data into actionable insights and tangible improvements.Collaborative:Strong communication skills and an effective collaborator with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Qualified:Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or a related discipline.
