One of Perths best venues has an exciting opportunity for someone to take on the role of Assistant Venue Manager.The position will involve working within a close team environment and managing staff consisting of duty managers, bar staff, glassies, security, band members and DJs.The successful applicant must have extensive experience in bar procedures and stock control and also be available weekends across both Friday and Saturday nights and Sundays.Previous management experience in a bar, restaurant or club an advantage.Approved Manager qualificationAbility to train staff and lead by exampleA good level of computer literacyThe ability to order stock and work with our bar managerMust have stocktaking experienceFamiliar with operating POS System and EftposExperience in setting up events with food & drink serviceA desire to provide first class customer service and a positive work environmentHave a sound understanding of the Liquor Licensing Act and the Directors PoliciesThis is a hands-on role and requires a person who likes to keep busy and further their skills and experience in running a large entertainment venue.What we offer in return is meals on shift, staff discounts at our sister venues, growth within the company and a fantastic view.A salary package of $90K to $100K is available depending on experience.You must be an Australian citizen or have the right to work in Australia with a stable work history.
