With 7 shifts a fortnight, including a weekend, hours range from the earliest start of 2pm, to the latest finish of 10am (9 hours worked, broken by an onsite 8-hour sleep period).Please notethat for the 8-hour unpaid sleep period between 10pm-6am, you remain at the home and sleep in your own private room.A typical day as a Support Worker may look like:Supporting person-centred plans that identify a customers life goals and working to achieve themSupporting customers in daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering and toileting, medication administration and attending appointmentsEnsuring positive behaviour support plans are followed; andAdministration duties and mandatory daily reports.The ideal candidate will have:Cert III in Individual Support (CHC33015 or CHC33021) essentialPrevious experience in supporting customers with dementia and behaviours of concernHave willingness to support customers of any gender by assisting with personal care (showering, toileting) and domestic duties (meal preparation, housekeeping)Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.Passion for providing service and assistance and helping others live their best lives.Previous experience or willingness to train in manual handling and medication administration.Proven administration and computer literacy skills.A valid drivers licence and a willingness to use your private vehicle (with rebates available).We areActiv.
