Primary Details Time Type: Part time Worker Type: EmployeeLocation: MelbournePart-time opportunity (2 days a week)Hybrid work, happy to talk flexible workingThe opportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a well organised person who works well in a team environment of underwriters and can develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Your new roleAs a Specialist Underwriting Operations, you have a strong commitment to excellence in client service and administration and the drive to work as part of a high performing team. Reporting to Head of Underwriting, you will support the Commercial Insurance business and the wider team.Key roles and responsibilitiesCoordinating with internal teams to help with backend underwriting tasks.Utilise underwriting software and tools to input data, run scenarios, and generate necessary reportsProvide analytical, administrative, and supportive services to the broader team including documentation, filing and ensure to meet compliance and regulationsManaging and maintaining accurate records of underwriting decisions, policies, and correspondence.Help the team with updating training and development material and extent support as and when needed.About you:You will bring some experience and understanding of the insurance business and a desire to grow in the role.
