With a focus on technical execution, platform enablement, and alignment to long-term architecture, you will drive innovation to shape and evolve Deakins CRM eco-system.As a Senior Specialist, Platform Development, you will:Lead the design, development, and implementation of fit-for-purpose CRM platform components to support project delivery and operations.Ove rsee and guide the technical architecture, governance, and enablement of the CRM platform, ensuring interoperability across integrated systems and alignment with university technology strategy.Collaborate with Enterprise and Solution architects, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to align on platform direction and priorities.Support platform operations through troubleshooting, optimisation, and consultancy.Provide technical mentorship and contribute to the refinement of CRM platform practices, standards, and delivery approaches.To be successful, youll have:Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or Extensive experience and management expertiseA degree with substantial subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in CRM platforms or related fields, including demonstrated experience working in multi-platform CRM environments such as Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or other clouds) and Tealium or similar Customer Data Platform (CDP) products.Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer, System Architect) would be highly regarded.Strong knowledge of platform architecture, patterns, and integration principles and atrack record in designing secure, scalable, and sustainable technical solutions.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills and acontinuous improvement mindset and platform enablement experience.Here''s how to apply:Please submit your updated resume and a short cover letter outlining your skills and experience.For a confidential discussion regarding this role, please contact Michael Heley (Associate Director, Enterprise Platforms) on michael.heley@deakin.edu.auApplications for this position close on 28th July 2025.Are You Ready?Deakin is a Victorian university with a global impact.
