Vinery Stud, a premier thoroughbred nursery located in the picturesque Hunter Valley is currently searching for an experienced Relief Night Watch Foaling Attendant for the 2025 foaling season.This position will be three (3) consecutive nights per week working alongside another full-time night watch attendant for all shifts.In this role you will be required to:check mares regularly overnight.administer treatments to mares and foals.assist the onsite vets when necessary.monitor the wellbeing of both mares and foals.work well alone and within a team.The skills necessary to succeed in this role include:exceptional horse husbandry.previous experience foaling down mares.demonstrated knowledge in dealing with normal and abnormal foaling''s.excellent judgement and rational decision-making.accurate record keeping.If you are a dedicated and motivated person with previous experience with mares and foals we want to hear from you!A competitive remuneration package is available for the right applicant.
