Some of the children and young people we care for may also have a disability or complex medical needs requiring specialised support, including personal care.You will be part of a dedicated to team working to ensuring a safe, homelike environment where these young people can thrive, supporting them to learn independent life skills, develop problem solving skills and to build appropriate and positive relationships with others.Our residential homes operate 24/7, therefore it is essential that successful applicants areable and willing to work a roster which regularly includes afternoon, sleepover and weekend shifts.A Diploma in Community Services or related field, OR willingness to complete a Diploma offered by LWB (Note: a qualification is desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience)Current Provide First Aid and CPR certificates.Australian Drivers LicenceWillingness to assist with activities of daily living, including personal care (if required).Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, NSW Working with Children Check and NSW Residential Care Workers Register check.How to ApplyInclude your resume and covering letter in one document, click Apply and follow the prompts.
